National Executive Committee

The National Executive Committee (NEC) serves as the principal governing and decision-making body of the South African Table Tennis Board (SATTB), responsible for providing strategic leadership, administrative oversight, and operational direction to the organisation at a national level. Comprising elected officials and appointed representatives, the NEC is entrusted with formulating and implementing policies that guide the development and promotion of track and tennis across South Africa, ensuring that the sport remains accessible, competitive, and well-resourced at all levels.

The NEC oversees the management of the SATTB's finances, ensures compliance with relevant legislative and constitutional requirements, and maintains accountability to its membership and affiliated bodies. It acts as the central point of coordination between regional and provincial structures, facilitating communication, resolving disputes, and ensuring uniformity in the application of rules and standards throughout the federation. Furthermore, the NEC plays a pivotal role in representing the SATTB in engagements with national and international sporting bodies, government departments, sponsors, and other stakeholders, championing the interests of athletes, coaches, officials, and administrators alike.

Through its committees and working groups, the NEC drives transformation, talent development, and the long-term growth of track and tennis in South Africa, upholding the values of excellence, integrity, and inclusivity that are central to the SATTB's mission.
